I have spent the better part of 2 days trying to contact Omega Meat Company via email with no luck. On Saturday, September the 1st. (Labor Day) a distributor for Omega Meats showed up at my home. Now I don't know if it is customary for sales people to be intoxicated or for a lack of a better word ""High"", but this sales rep. sure was under the influence of some substance. When my sister approached the door and told Scott that we couldn't buy from him this month he became very insistant. He even can into my home. I have 5 children and while I could have used the meat at another time his persistance and his demeanor will cause me not to buy from them again. I have been a faithful customer for over 2 years and usually I have not problem. However, I do not feel it is appropriate to hound people to buy when they have no $$ and I do not thing showing up selling meat or anything else while under the influence is warrented. Therefore, since I haven't been able to talk with anyone from the company- my hope is they will read this and return a phone call to myself. They have my address and phone number if anyone from the company would like to conversate on what occured. Also, I find it a little strange that they have NO email or offical site to vist. Perhaps, I'll give Omaha a chance at my business. Perhaps in the future, Omega Meats will upgrade their requirements for their jobs or at least check on their reps from time to time. Pros: The meat is good quality and usually the reps will cut you a unbeliveable deals.
Cons: I can't have reps showing up at my door intoxicated (drugged) in front of my children.
