Review content:
My husband and I know little about Thai cuisine. We were bored of our regular spots and have been eying Zak8 since they opened. We went in on a Thurs night and were the only patrons, but that didn't scare us away. The service was wonderful. Our waiter was patient with us and selected entrees and starters to get a feel for their cuisine. Don't miss the appetizer (I can't spell it or say it) that comes in lettuce leaves and is stuffed with a Bangkok spice, lime, peanut, and some other things we couldn't make out. The Spicy Peanut Curry had a little too much sauce, but was very flavorful and presented well. The atmosphere is dark with brown accents. The concrete floors (which is commonplace in Frisco) was a little too cold for the 32 degree night we picked, but they turned up the heat for us. This one is not to miss!
Pros: Informative Wait staff, great presentation, great value
