Review content:
I have been knitting for at least 4 years and I've been to numerous yarn/knitting shops in and around NYC as well as online and I must say that Purl is the best! The shop is located in a great Soho neighborhood. \r
\r
I admit that the shop is small but it's cozy and the staff are always friendly and helpful. In fact, most yarn shops that I have visited are small and claustrophobic but not Purl. The interior is light in color and the shopfront lets in lots of natural light so it's alway bright and colorful even on rainy days. I just love the way the yarns are organized within the shelves by color and material. I always feel like a kid in a candy store every time I enter Purl. Unlike most knitting stores I've visited, Purl carries yarns that are made of mostly natural fibers. You won't find 100% polyester yarns here.\r
\r
I highly recommend this wonderful store to all knitters; beginners and experienced. The staff are super friendly and are always happy to help with whatever questions you have about knitting or troubleshoot your current projects. They're very knowledgeable of the products that are sold in Purl and of knitting and crochet.\r
\r
And although the shop is cozy, they have room if you want to just sit and knit.
Pros: Friendly staff, natural fiber yarns, bright and colorful shop.
Cons: None.
