Review content:
I needed my basement carpet replaced and I had removed the old carpet myself to save money. Gwinnett Carpet quoted $970 for everything, Concept Flooring quoted $1757 and an independent owner in Stone Mountain quoted $1568. Fernan Peralta (General Manager of Gwinnett Carpet) correctly measured my basement at 97 sq yds; the Stone Mountain independent owner had measured 105 sq yds (innocent mistake??). Fernan never made a high pressure sales pitch for unnecessary padding or expensive carpeting that had no place in a basement. His installers were very courteous, pleasant and truly professional. I had offered them a quick lunch, but they graciously declined and continued working. I'm not rich with money but I am rich with decency, so I gave them ""lunches to go"" and tipped them very generously because I was so impressed with their work ethic and I was very pleased with the new look of the basement. Honest people are hard to find; Fernan Peralta you're a rare breed, don't ever change!\r
