Last night after enjoying Dr. Claw's Lobster Rolls (thanx again Doc), we were in the area and looking for a spot to get some suds. We found a parking spot and right across was a nice sit down spot with tables and such outside... but right next to the car was this line of bikes... and what looked like a cool place so we walked in...had it been a biker bar where we would NOT fit in, we'd have likely left, but it isn't and its very chill. Its not fancy, but its far from run down-looking. Its kinda trendy in design without being over-the-top. On the TV's and the projector they were showing some MotoGP (Motorcycle Grand Prix) racing and the whole crowd was into it... with nary a peep unless you'd see a sick pass or overtaking. Everyone there was just into the racing. Drinking, laughing, having a good time, not really much yelling... kind of odd to be in any bar and not feel the need to yell to converse with your friends. But thats exactly how it was. Good beer choices, great prices, and the food looked damn good too. The place is supposedly a former body-shop/bike shop. The main area of the bar is presumably where the main shop was. Once you go to the side opposite the door, you come to a door that leads you to what must have been the bike yard or parking lot for the shop... today its an outdoor seating area. And if you walk down the hall where you had come upon the first door you'll find a second door that leads you to a back room with a stage and a DJ spinning. The setup is really nice. I'll definitely go back. Its a very cool place. One thing that came off as funny to me was one of the writings on the window said ""BRUNCH SERVED Saturday & Sunday"", and I thought ""ain't that something, Brunch at a Biker Bar"". Check it out. Pros: Laid-back atmosphere, Affordable Drinks, Good music Cons: none?
