The atmosphere is lovely and romantic. The food is delicious!! The pate appetizer left us wanting more, the trout and salmon were some of the best ever!\r We had reservations for a 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening dinner. We drove around for 20-25 minutes looking for a parking place!! When we finally found one about 2 blocks away I asked the hostess why they didn't have valet parking. Her response was that it was available on Friday and Saturday evenings only and that the owners were aware of the problem, but nothing could be done. If the restaurant had been full, we would have been more understanding. But there were very few diners. Most of the parking spots were occupied by those eating at Waterloo Ice House. Yes, it's a great restaurant, but there are others in Austin that are also great who provide valet parking or ample parking spaces.
