Review content:
The chef/owner's experience at first class restaurants really shows as this is not 'small village' dining! The menu features steak, seafood, and other gourmet choices along with some wonderful salad selections. Be sure to save room for the panacotta dessert--fantastic. The wine list provides a great selection of wines, some of which are not the typical wine list variety. But then, this is not the typical restaurant! The owners (both the chef and restaurant manager) are typically there and very hardworking and friendly. Their wait staff is extremely professional. Reservations are recommended, particularly if a Road America race weekend. Dining tables are available on the bar side; however, the noise on busy nights or when musicians are there on Fridays precludes table conversations without screaming. So plan accordingly and enjoy a great meal.
Pros: Great menu and service
Cons: Very loud on bar side when busy
