Review content:
I have actually never taken the time to write a review before. While I have gone to some good businesses, never has one been extraordinary enough or left a lasting enough impact for me to take the time to write about it. After my experience at Buckhead Auto, I knew I had to change my no review-writing policy. I recently was in a tiny fender bender. Someone on the scene who knew a little bit about cars said I needed to get a part of my car checked out that could possibly be damaged. I am a grad student and am operating on little time, sleep, and a limited budget. So the idea of having to take the time and money to fix my car sounded awful. Since I am not a native of Atlanta, I researched trustworthy car places in the area. The first few places I read about had scathing reviews, and then I came across Buckhead Auto Center's glowing reviews. In addition to the reviews (hundreds on google and other review pages), it stood out to me that it was a family business. Plus, people kept talking about Larry, the owner. When I went in, Larry introduced himself as if he were a new friend. He was just as kind, genuine, knowledgeable, and honest as the reviews had said he was. I showed him the part of the car in question, and I told him I was about to be driving on a long trip, leaving the following morning. He started to schedule an appointment for me for early the next morning (earlier than they open I suspect, trying to fit my schedule), but he must have read the stress on my face (again, grad school=limited time and budget), because he then said he would take a look at it right then. After examining the car, he told me that my car was actually good to go. He said I could fix the bent part of my car if I wanted to for looks-sake, but it wasn't going to hurt or help how the car functions. I opted not to get it fixed, but asked if I could at least pay him for his time. He wouldn't even let me do that! Because of my experience, I fully trust Buckhead Auto and Larry. I will without a doubt go back there for anything to do with my car, and I encourage anyone else to do the same. Once you go there, you'll never go to another car place again.
