Review content:
This place always has friendly, accomodating service with a variety of traditional thai dishes (how close they are to actual dishes in Thailand I don't know, since I've never been there, but they seem to have a better grasp than many asian places in the metro area). Generous use of basil and lemongrass in the right dishes. The food is fresh and healthy, not greasy. They will make the soft spring rolls with or without shrimp, and their crispy ones are crisp and light as they should be--the dumpling appetizers are great as well. I love their pad thai, and they cook the tofu just right: little pillows of protein, nothing too chewy or slimy here. They will make anything to the level of spiciness you want. Moderate bar. Not a large place: several small tables plus a few on a patio when the weather is nice; can accomodate moderate groups if you ask them. They have a lovely but casual atmosphere...could be romantic for the right couple, but some might be too snooty to appreciate the simple elegance of what appears to be a little hole-in-the wall place from the outside and is not over-decorated inside. Very fair prices for the portions/quality!! Pros: Good food, good prices, good service. Prompt takeout. Cons: Open cafe-style seating, no booths, can seem a bit casual
