I have had nothing but a NIGHTMARE !!!! with these folks. Their ONLY saving grace is that the doctor is very nice. I intially went in to get a copy of my former prescrition remade...they did that in about an hour with a pair of their OVERPRICED frames, but they did it right and fast and everyone seemed nice despite the prices which counts for something in my book. So several months later I went back for a new exam and new frames-WHAT A )@(*$(&@ nightmarish expereince. I have spent OVER $500 for a pair of sunglasses, regular glasses and reading glasses. They cannot get the prescrition right. Ive been back 4!!!!! times and still cant see (And Ive had glasses many times made over the past 20 years and NEVER EVER have had this kinda problem and nothing with my eyes or health has changed to effect my vision except for the standard aging process)-they give me excuses everytime, its the axis, its the curvature of the lense, we wont make your reading glasses now, we have to send them BACK to the lab, it'll be ANOTHER week-this has gone on almost 2 months n Im still blind. (cant see distances all my life and now at the age I need reading glasses as well) I asked to speak to the owner-he's the punk guy who will try to sell you the most expensive frames in there (and they dont have cheap ones!) He was IMMEDIATELY defensive when I finally had had enough. He said NO REFUNDS, PERIOD n if youll look at their finacial records you can see they arent doing all that well finacially as a bus. Now the one time I was firm but Im not a screaming #%^$&TRYING TO make a scene, I just want to see and for $500 ud think theyd have me seeing by now or provide refund so I could go to a compentant shop. I have filed a complaint with the Better Bus. Bureau and suggest you do the same if youve had a negative expereince with these folks. This is almost one of those horrid experiences you see on 8 on your side or such. Ill say it again, the Doctor is very nice, but I STILL cant see. :( !!!
Pros: Close to home, nice Doctor
Cons: Owner RUDE, NO REFUNDS, cant make a simple pair of glasses, time factor
