New York Martial Arts Academy is the best place to learn martial arts. From day one they have made me feel welcome and never feel like intimidated or like I don't belong.
Group classes are small meaning the instructor on the floor spends more hands on time with individuals. Unlike other schools where you have 20 or 30 people on the floor at the same time.
The instructors group has over 140 years experience combined. They are always willing to help you no matter your level of experience.
The art taught there is Jeet Kune Do. This is Bruce Lee's martial art which he called scientific street fighting. The art is geared for the street and is not bound to the rules established for ring sports
