Review content:
I'm not sure where others have eaten sushi in the past, possibly at Chinese buffet restaurants, but as some one who has enjoyed Sushi on the coast, this place was a joke. I was impressed with the wait staff, very friendly and accomodating. But, the inexpensive lunch special was too good to be true. I mean, honestly, a bento box for about $6?? I should have known better. \r
The rolls can be best described as bad. Poorly presented and far from fresh. The Philly roll had melted philly cheese, and lacked the main ingredients in a philly roll, hence the cheap deal. You could tell most of the ingredients were a day old or so and had been stored. The salmon sushi wasnt fresh, I dare say it was ""bad"" as in: expired. It wasnt the correct color or texture for sushi grade fish. I wouldnt eat it. The ginger dressing was bitter and also tasted ""old"". The chicken was overcooked and the dessert orange was old as well. The experience was awful. The wait staff, again, was very courteous and the iced tea was fresh and my glass was kept full, but that was the only highlight of my meal here. I will never eat here again and can hardly understand why others were so impressed, I can only assume I either visited on a bad day or the others havent truly experienced quality Japanese sushi. \r
Do not reccommend.
Pros: Friendly waitress and hostess
Cons: The food is awful
