Review content:
If you don't expect much (or even none) of your security deposit back, I would highly recommend FPM apartments to you because of the following reasons: 1. cheap rental. My previous apt in Clemson was about the same size as my friend's apt in Central, but I paid about $450/month while my friend pays around $600. 2. nice location. I used to live in an apartment that is within walking distance to Clemson campus. It's also on the red route of CATBUS (this could save you tons of trouble fighting for a parking space on campus during rush hour). 3. quick response. I stayed in the apartment for two years. Whenever I called, they would sent someone over within one or two business days. \r
However, if you do expect to get your full (or much) security deposit back, don't rent from them. Nobody can get 100% back b/c THEY ASK YOU TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL CARPET CLEANING COMPANY to clean your carpet (sorry, honey, you can't clean it yourself) and they want a RECEIPT. Before you move out, you will receive a letter from FPM with a long list of items that you should clean, change (light bulbs, air conditioner filter, etc), and pay (e.g. carpet cleaning services charge fifty bucks to over a hundred). I only got about 21% of my security deposit back, despite the fact that I cleaned my apt for two days, with the help of three friends. Btw, I am a very neat person, and all my friends were surprised to learn that I was charged for ""very dirty."" Besides, FPM only showed the apt once and it was immediately rented.
