I'm a triathlete competing at sprint and Olympic distances, but swimming isn't my main sport. For that reason I was pleased to find the staff at On The Blocks to be helpful and knowledgeable about the gear they are selling.
I've shopped online for goggles, pull buoys, jammers, etc, but you just can't match the personal attention and product knowledge that you get at On The Blocks.
They have a great goggle fitting station where you can try on different styles to get the best fit.
Also, I love that they have computerized records. When I wear out a pair of goggles, I just go in and they can look up what I bought last time, so I can get the same model or something similar.
Also, when I recently compared the price I paid for a pair of Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Plus goggles to what is available online, they were cheaper in the store than online (once shipping was factored in).
Definitely a great store and great people. I'll be back in a few months when its time for new goggles.
