I can officially say that I had the worst dining experience of my life here. Did it say on their web site that the chef had creole culinary training? Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say that when my boyfriend & I went there their ""highly trained"" chef was on vacation and the lowly assistant who never paid attention when being taught was manning the stove... Anyway, I ordered the blackened catfish & I swear they try to torture the diners with black pepper. I can promise you that all this fish was seasoned with was black pepper & TONS of it - nothing else!!!! \r \r What annoys me is that my boyfriend and I just came back from New Orleans & we stumbled upon this disaster of a restaurant by mistake. In New Orleans we dined @ KPauls who has the best blackened anything you can imagine. We didn't expect the same quality but at least edible. Normally I don't complain when a meal isn't great but I couldn't continue to commit suicide with every bite. We told the server that it was bad & all she did was smile & shrug. Yeah dumb smile and shrug... While it would have been nice of her to offer a substitute, she offered nothing!!! \r \r At any rate, we put that bad experience to bed and have vowed NEVER to go back. If they ever tried to open this horror in New Orleans, they'd be run out of town on the first street car. Pros: Pretty Decor Cons: Horrible Food
