Review content:
My first experience at Stan's Place was last month. I loved it immediately. It's very small and quaint but that's just fine by me. If it was too get any bigger I believe it would lose its personality. We went for Brunch and the food was out of this world. I had the catfish (which tasted so fresh) and grits (which were so creamy) and a side order of biscuits with sausage gravy. I have never tasted anything so good in my life. Sausage gravy over biscuits? What a delicious idea. I ate like a pig. The wait wasn't long and for the most part the staff was friendly. My only complaint was our waitress. i think her name was Lily or Lila. She wasn't rude, she just wasn't someone who I think should be working as a waitress. You need personality for that. I felt as if she didn't want to be there. I thought maybe it was just a bad day for her, but I went back this past Sunday because I just had to take my husband and she was our waitress again and I got the same vibe. I just ignored it because everything else made up for it. I would still go back Pros: The great food, the prices, the atmosphere Cons: Our waitress
