Review content:
First of all let me say that I don't usually talk negatively about places of business but this was so bad It is necessary. We have been to this restaurant before and it was fine. My husband and I took another couple with us for some oysters, shrimp and crablegs. We are a friendly bunch and have never been the type to cause problems or give the wait staff a hard time. That being said the waiter came and started out telling us ""in my predicament I will do my best if you know what I mean""..We though he was maybe stoned and laughed it off. We ordered appetizers which he forgot to put on until we asked for them. He brought our appetizers at the same time with the oysters. He never opened 1 oyster. Just walked around looking busy. Everyone around us were enjoying their food. 30 minutes later I asked where our food was..shrimp, crablegs, oysters? He said ""I don't know..I'll try. Then he brought out the scallops, set them down and said""Where are the scallops? We were like Are you that messed up that you don't see then sittin right in front of you? He got mad and stated insulting our friends who he recognizes are from the north. he starts spouting things like ""this is the way we do it in the south lady"". We finally got the ownwer over there and explained to him that we still haven't been fed yet. He says""You ready for your check? I said ""no, I am hungry"". The whole time the waiter was still talking ugly to my friends. The owner said nothing. Needless to say we left, but in 44 years of eating out and also waiting tables through college, I have never run across a waiter so obviously on something and a owner who doesn't care. We will NEVER be back and will tell everyone I know about this experience!!!!
