Review content:
My husband reserved a night at this B&B on the night of a wine dinner with one of our favorite local wineries. We have never been so disapointed and furious for wasting so much money. The wine dinner was aweful, the food marginal at best, the service terrible. We go to wine dinners frequently and this was the quickest, coldest, the most non-interesting dinner we have ever been to. The owner came by and began pouring out our wine that we had purchased. When we explained that we were not done she made us get up and get other stemware. I was very rudely ""sshhed"", she yelled at me that it was ""quiet hours"". It was a Friday night at 9pm. Mind you this is a large B&B with a beautiful living room area. We asked to sit by the fire and enjoy the rest of our wine, she turned the lights out on us and told us to be quiet. The next morning was not any better. She was vacuuming at 10am, check out is at 11am. The heat was also so high in our room that we had to open the door in the middle of February to cool off. It is a shame, this B&B is so beautiful and the rooms are plush but you are immediately turned off by the lack of service and rudeness that the owner and staff offer. We were sick when we handed over almost $500 for the whole experience. Save your money, I have had better service at a Motel 6.
Pros: The rooms were comfortable and plush
Cons: Everything else- the staff, the ambiance, service, price
