Arturo's is the best - they'll revive any shoe you have, can hack off a bit of the heel on a pair that you think are too high, or fix worn out soles plus the usual - weather proofing, polishing, and general repair.
I've seen people bring in shoes from as high end as Prada, and you can trust these guys - they're awesome and do great work.
Very good pricing - my stiletto boots are a tad shorter in the heel, making them easier to walk in and it cost me $12.
