The apartments are cute however, they're not very functional. There is no hall closet. There are no vents in the bathrooms. The granite countertopsin the kitchen are not sealed so if something with oil, or even a glass with condensation gets on your counter it stains. The water stains will fade but the grease or oil stains take some elbow grease to remove. If you get one of the townhomes the stairwell is two narrow to fit anything larger than a twin sized bed upstairs without damaging the wall and/or your box spring and you will be charged for the damages. \r \r There are 5 apartment buildings within this complex and each unit is allowed one parking space and there are only 3 visitors spaces for the entire complex. These 3 spaces are frequenty occupied by residents as most families are 2 car households. With such limited parking its impossible to have family or friends over for dinner or anything else for that matter because managment sees too it that cars occupying assigned spaces are towed. Even if the visitor's spaces are occupied by residents. The towing fee is $180. \r \r There are 3 or 4 strip clubs within 3 blocks of the complex. The neighboring apartment complexes are rowdy with frequent visits from the police at all hours of the night. What looks like a prostitution operation is run out of the creepy hotel on the corner from this complex. So at night it's not at all uncommon to see a scantily clad woman or drag queen standing under a street light. A quarter of the assigned parking spaces for the apartment complex are located outside of the gated area for the complex. If you are unfortunate enough to be assigned to one of these spaces be sure to have full coverage as your car will flood at the first sign of rain.\r \r Before the week of Mardi Gras we had knee high standing water in front of the complex for 4 hours. Save yourself the trouble and move somewhere else. I certainly won't be renewing my lease.
