If you're looking for a wonderful group of pediatricians, call Kids Creek! I have 2 kids who both go there and see one regularly but it's always nice to know that there are other doctors who can see your child and know their history when unexpected illnesses pop up. I love the 24hr nurse line, too. Thankfully I've only had to use it once, and that was on Christmas Eve last year! My daugher, then 9 month old had had a fever for a few days that spiked up pretty high in the middle of the night, I called the office and was connected to the nurse line where I spoke with a great woman who made me feel like I wasn't just another paranoid parent but at the same time took the time to understand what my daugher's symptoms were and explained how the fever worked and how to treat her all according to my doctor's instuctions! It was so nice not to have to drive 30 minutes to the ER on Christmas Eve just to have the docs there give her some Motrin and send us home! In summary, KCCC is a wonderful place to take your kids, caring doctors and nurses, a large waiting room (nice to be able to keep your sick little one away from others) and helpful staff makes it great!
