Get on my soapbox. How long can I stay up here? I have been associated with this company for the past year and a half. The new owner and CEO, Steve Scher has been personally accessible and available from day one. The very first job Acrobat sent me on as a chef, I cut my thumb at the client location. Acrobat immediately arranged emergency medical attention and provided sufficient worker's compensation for the 3 weeks I was unable to work in a matter of days. They never chastised me or berrated me for the mishap and continued to make jobs available to me. The check came immediately and was quite generous considering. It was all so professional and Acrobat was so personally concerned about my injury and well being. I have never forgotten that. I have watched Acrobat establish themselves in the food service staffing industry as the premier and most efficient and reliable player in the business. IAcrobat has associated themselves with the absolute creme' de la creme' of the catering, hotel, restaurant and corporate world from the Napa Valley to the Silicon Valley and downtown majors in San Francisco as well. Acrobats biggest problem is keeping good people because usually the client is so satisfied with who Acrobat refers they are offered permanent positions within their company!!!! Where else would the owner and CEO miss his wedding anniversary and drive 3 of his chefs to a catered event in the Napa Valley to get them their on time and continue to goodwill Acrobat has earned since Steve took over. They are a fantastic company to work WITH AND FOR, AND AS THEY SAY AT ACROBAT: ""We treat our clients like partners and our EMPLOYEES LIKE FAMILY. IT'S TRUE. \r
