Review content:
We recently refinanced our home through Sydion (DBA Arivian) Financial and were please with how it went. The loan officer was well-informed, not at all pushy, and explained things clearly and made sure we understood everything. The loan fees were low compared to our credit union and there were a number of loan options depending on how our appraisal came in. The estimates for total closing costs were right on target - they were knowledgeable about state laws and fees associated with them. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is that the closing process took longer than expected due to ""staff restructuring"" - the delay cost us a couple hundred dollars in interest. Not a big amount in the long term, but enough to be frustrating while we waited. Overall, a less stressful process than I expected given our experience with past mortgage transactions. FYI, we are located in Portland and did business with a Sydion branch in Battle Ground, WA.
