Dr. Berner is very refreshing after years of feeling ""Is anybody hearing me?"" He takes the time to listen to you, talk to you, and at every appointment I feel he's always adding pieces to the puzzle. My first visit felt as if someone lifted the burden off my shoulder, as he ""got it."" He acknowledged what was happening was real and from that point I could now move forward. As one reviewer stated he is not quick to put labels on people. He's also not hesitant to try new things and suggest alternatives. I feel like it's my life, I'm in charge, and he's asking how he can work with you to help you have a better quality of life. He's worked with our family and it makes a difference to have someone know the dynamics. His response time in returning a phone call is the best I've had on a consistent basis. No question is a stupid question. And, when you do ask questions, he is straight forward and will educate you.
Pros: On time, quick response, can get an appointment when you need one.
Cons: If you feel it's too far to drive, it's not. It's worth the drive.
