Review content:
We went to Tuscany on a Saturday night and were seated in the boonies - upstairs and perhaps way too far from the bar? In any event, we ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir and had to send it back because it was undrinkable. We did not get a wine list until we were already into our appetizers. When the waitress finally took our orders we were on our salads and did not get served our 2 glasses of wine until we were on our entrees. Given that we are wine drinkers, this was completely irritating and practically ruined our meal. The appetizer of smoked salmon on hearthbread was delicious, the ceaser salads mediocre. My husband's pork chop was outstanding, but my chicken scallopine was smothered in a sauce that was so rich it actually made my stomach turn.
