Review content:
i used this shop relying on GEICO's representative who recommended Caliber Collision, So Lamar, as a shop where I'd be guaranteed a good and timely repair. I had a garden variety rear fender ding- the estimate at the shop was a max of 5 days to repair. At that time there was only one car in the shop ahead of my own. I took the car in 25 December, didn't get it back until 4 January. The delay, according to the shop, was because the shop had ordered a taillight for a year model which was NOT my own car's. I was happy to have the original tailight installed (minimal scratching). I didn't get that information until the afternoon of Jan 4th. And then when I got home the trunk release was not operating. I cannot release the trunk from the indoor activator-- which was working just fine before the shop's bodywork.. Wasn't until then that I checked other reviews for this shop. After seeing that my experience was typical, I called GEICO recommending they attach their business to more competent bodyshops. I'm actually more concerned about the damage to GEICO's rep, they have been a great company, than to Collision's.
