I don't trust mechanics. I've been cheated by several of them over the years and they were expensive situations. I moved to SF and needed work on my car after driving cross-country. I asked a local Porshe shop and they directed me to Bill. I was nervous about being cheated again and I didn't have much money to spend. Bill and his partner made me feel at ease and were very up front about cost and time as well as the order of importance in the list of repairs. Bill worked with me and took my needs into account.\r
In my experience, an honest mechanic is unusual. Add in Bill's expertise and willingness to work within the client's needs and you have a the perfect mechanic for me.\r
Bill isn't cheap but he is honest and thorough. I recommend him to *everyone* I know who needs a mechanic.
