Review content:
On the Monday following the hurricane,My son and nephew were walking down Cypresswood near or at the park. Two police officers showed up and started talking to the boys, and accusing them of jumping off the roof at the park. They said one officer (younger one)was nice,But the other officer was very rude.He asked my nephew his name and when he told him,he said he had heard all about him.He had these kids pretty scared and when he asked my son his address,he couldn't even think of it.The officer asked him if he was ignorant.\r
This story upset me a great deal, because the day before was my nephews birthday, and he had just found out that they had lost their home and everything they owned close to High Island. My nephew also has multiple sclerosis and doesn,t walk well, cannot ride a bicycle and cannot climb a tree, much less jump off any buildings. This should have been more than noticeable by these officers. He also was not from here so how could he have heard all about him.\r
I have always taught my son to respect the police, and the job that they do.His older brothers best friend is a police officer and his brother is a paramedic.\r
I don't know who this officer is,but I do know this is not the way to treat children,by bullying them and using scare tactics.I guess there is one bad apple everywhere.\r
I have told my son he should still respect the police, regardless of this one officer.\r

Sorry, I just had to vent.\r
