Review content:
This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I am not someone who writes reviews, but this was so bad I wanted to warn others thinking of patronizing this business.
My upright Hoover bagless vacuum that I've had for a few years had a brush failure. The spinning brush stopped spinning, so the main vacuum did not work. The tools and the hand vacuum part worked perfectly, though. There was never a problem with suction, just the main brush wouldn't spin.
I took it to the store where they estimated it would be $25 to fix and ready within a week. I said go ahead.
I get a call the next week saying that during cleaning, they had broken a part and needed to replace it. They wanted to charge me $55 now. This is the beginning of the problem. They then said the part needed was on backorder, and would be 10 days before it arrived. After 10 days I called back, and was told another week. The next week I heard the same thing. After TWO MONTHS of this, I finally get so mad I just go pick up the vacuum. They bring it out and it is an absolute wreck. It is in literally six separate pieces and filthier than I can even describe. I ask what part was broken, and the guy shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't know. So now, after two months, the vacuum is completely unusable -- whereas when I brought it in, there was still perfect suction and I had use of all the hand vacuum tools. They said they did not know how to put the pieces back together (not kidding).
I got the pieces home and managed to clean and assemble the pieces, noticing along the way some mangled parts where the plastic was all bent and broken. Again, I managed to bend everything back and reassemble the vacuum. The suction is restored! I have full use of the hand tools again, but of course the main brush is still not working.
I am exactly where I started out two months ago. They broke my vacuum and then did not know how to put it back together (which, by the way, I did in less than 15 minutes).
I would give zero stars if I could. Avoid this place.
