Review content:
Dr. Alina Popa is very rude and barely speaks rudimentary English. I called the office and Dr. Poppa, who was on call for the weekend, called me back. During the phone call Dr. Poppa responded to me with a mix of English and some other language, and, instead of listening to me and assisting me, negligently told me to go to the emergency room and then hung up on me. My first and only language is English and I have a right to speak to a doctor who uses understandable English. I also have the right to deal with a doctor who is kind and sympathetic rather than rude, angry, and less than considerate. Finally, why would Dr. Poppa be so quick to send me to the emergency room when she is capable of solving the problem herself by contacting my pharmacy and refilling my medication? Sending people to the emergency room instead of refilling their medication by phone is a costly and obvious abuse the healthcare system. If you need help, hope and pray Dr. Poppa isn't the doctor on call.
