Businiess name:  Michael Lenton Construction
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
As friends of Michael Lenton's as well as long-term customers - we asked for the opportunity to offer our experience of working with him. \r \r We are the owners of a 90-year old house, and we thought long and hard about renovating our home. We also interviewed contractors, studied other renovations and talked to a number of people who had gone through the potentially onerous process of construction. Ultimately, recognizing that there is risk in working with friends, we decided to use Lenton Construction because Michael ""gets"" older homes. Not willing to attach a new structure to an older one - such that you can almost see the zipper - Michael ensures that the work he does evokes a feeling of restoration as much as renovation. \r \r Over the course of seven years, we have hired Michael again and again - to add a new porch that visitors swear must have always been there, to renovate the kitchen, build a pantry that is frankly enviable (wine racks and all) and more. In today's market, homeowners are frequently called with offers for free construction esimates. My response to these calls? We have a contractor, and he's he best.
