Review content:
For several years I belonged to one of the mega gyms in the area. I would work out regularly, but I would see little improvement in my conditioning. The mega gym was also boring, as I tried to find different things to play on my iPod to keep myself distracted from the monotony of sitting on an exercise machine. I became more fed up as the mega gym added more members and I couldn’t find the weights that I wanted to use, an available exercise machine, or even a parking spot.
A year ago I decided to try CrossFit after reading favorable comments about it in a fitness magazine. Great decision! Miles and the team at CrossFit South Cobb have taught me the value of intense workouts. With support from the trainers, their workout-of-the-day challenges me and engages me. My conditioning has improved considerably.
Having never been an Olympic decathlete, I know that some of the CrossFit workouts can be intimidating. However each workout can be scaled to each individual’s abilities. The workout may appear tough, but you will be able to do it and you will see a benefit from it!
