Review content:
February 11th I took my Honda get the engine maintenance light reset and determine the problem with my cruise control. They asked for my credit card number. They called noting that $2000 worth of work needed to occur immediately and that my car was too dangerous to be on the road. I had recently had the 77,000 mile service conducted so I knew that some of the items they listed shouldn't need to be addressed. I then took my car to a Honda dealership and had them run down a checklist of every item that ""Honda Acura Automotive"" said needed to be performed. The Honda dealership noted that none of the work that ""Honda Acura Automotive"" suggested in fact needed to be performed. The items they said needed to be fixed were: Spark plugs, Timing belt, Front and back breaks, Rear cap and motor, Valve adjustment, Water pump, Outer belts, and Shocks.I called, Joe, the owner back and repeated what the other repair shop said, he grew very angry saying that he'd been in business a long time and didn't need to create business for himself. He then said that if I came over to the shop he'd show me how bad my struts were. The struts were not even on his initial list. He then said that he wouldn't charge me.Two days later I was charged $80.In addition, they never reset the engine light and never checked on the cruise control.
