Everyone has such terrible things to say and I have no idea why- I found ""the dress"" in a magazine 3 YEARS before I got engaged. After he popped the question I started calling around to try to track the dress down. The country bride had it, and I went, was measured, and paid the down payment in about 15 minutes! Yes, they SUGGESTED a 6, but I told them I felt more comfortable in a 4. They gave me no problem, just noted on the order form that I requested a 4- I'm sure this was to ""cover their butts"" in case the 4 didnt fit and I tried to complain about it. Dress fit perfectly, will have to be altered for length. YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO USE THEIR SEAMSTRESS. If you need alterations, you are welcome to take it somewhere else if you think you will get a better price, they told me this cheerfully. People- this means they do not make money on alterations. They are not going to force you to buy a bigger size so they make money. If you don't agree with their suggestion, speak up. You are a grown woman. \r
