Businiess name:  Dot Coffee Shop
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Dot's is a Houston's original, a throwback to the great coffee shops in Times Square that offer huge sandwiches and mouth-watering cheesecake. The goal of this restaurant is to provide you with tasty, filling food that is reasonably priced. It never fails. The service can be touch and go but the people watching while you wait makes the trip worthwhile. To-go orders are handled fairly quickly and you can torment yourself looking at the huge desserts in the display case while you wait. This restaurant dares not list calorie counts - the numbers would be too shocking. Most entrees are good, and a few are great. Take a risk - order something you're craving - you are bound to be pleasantly surprised. And for the youngsters out there - Dot's is a coffee shop in the traditional sense.Good coffee served and a lunch menu/desserts offered. This place was making money long before we decided we just had to have specialty coffees from a ""coffee shop.""
