Review content:
I have a family member who has had to deal with this company recently -- if they are the same ones who manage apartment buildings -- exact same name, so i assume they have multiple operations in or around Boston. My friend had asked for some work to be done and it took a few phone calls and they were not very helpful. It took weeks to make the smallest changes or improvements. Even after months the work was not completed and resulted in the apartment being unsecure - since no functioning lock on the window that is alongside the fire escape. having everything stolen does not make for a merry X-mas... It was even less merry when my friend called the management company per the police's recommendation, and was met with a person who did not care what happened and appeared annoyed to being contacted. The response was one that seemed as if what was my friend expecting to happen, whereas, the normal reaction of a person should have been to ask if everything is o.k. and we will be out as soon as possible to deal with this matter. Oh well, some people are simply not nice - too bad. Oh, please don't rent from R. Brown Management if you can avoid it -- the realtor says they are helpful and responsive, but they aren't.
Pros: they don't ask for a security deposit
Cons: Zero cutomer service, uncaring, a day late and a dollar short, rude
