I've owned nothing but old beater cars that I treat like beasts (Datsun 810, Plymouth Horizon, Ford Escort). A friend of mine turned me on to Prestige and they always did a great job on my car and never ripped me off. When you have a POS car, you don't want to spend lots of money to get it fixed, and they know this. I went in like three times for a pesky ""check engine"" light that never went out, and instead of telling me I needed a new transmission or something, theywould charge me nominally when they couldn't find the problem. It never amounted to anything, the car never exploded, and I just kept a bandaid over the ""check engine"" light and the car was fine. There were many times they could've really schweened me because what do I know about cars, but I never walked out of there feeling screwed. And Dave liked my cow seat covers on my Horizon, which I thought were the very best feature of the car, other than the rear window wiper. They're always ready when you go in for an appointment and you don't havve to wait long. And they don't sneer at you for having a junker car. They are good mechanics and very polite. I would recommend them very highly.
Pros: service, mechanics, free paper floor mats!
