Yes, there is a 40-60 minute wait unless you get there BEFORE 9am. You can put in your name and do some shopping and walk to the harbor. You may be expected to sit with strangers, but the restaurant only has 8 tables so you all end up talking to eachother anyway.\r

My husband had a breakfast sandwich and I had the banana french toast. We split an order of biscuits and gravy (way too large for even one). All the food was wonderful and so was the service. Someone sitting at the next table raved about the Captain Crunch French toast and said it was worth making a trip for.
Pros: Won't find a better breakfast in the city
Cons: Gotta wait for it
