I had been looking for a church like the one I attended as a child....Friendly, honest, familylike, not high and mighty or condescending....Never found it; until now!!!!! This church was so welcoming. I felt right at home. Donuts and coffee/cocoa in-between the services really opened up the fellowship. This church is just getting started with their new Pastor (John Barkley) and they enjoy visitors as much as G'ma enjoys company! Preaching is so relatable and they mix hymns with worship videos. I felt like I was in a movie, it is so quaint. I will certainly be attending this church as long as God will have me there. Sunday School is from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. and Church is from 10:45 until noon. Time flies and you don't nod off during the service :) They preach the Word with dignity and truth. LOOOVE it here and I encourage everyone to attend! I think this is the start of a church that is going to explode for the Lord. A hidden jewel in Butler!
