We found P’Cheen through a deal on Groupon. We finally got around to using the coupon this weekend & we are now kicking ourselves for not going sooner! To think of all the great dinners we missed…\r
\r
We started with the Drunken ‘Shrooms. They reminded me of the escargot from our (now closed) favorite Italian restaurant. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection in garlic-y goodness. The crispy bread gave the perfect crunch to offset the mushroom and melted provolone – even when soaked in some of the garlic sauce. I think I have a new favorite appetizer!\r
\r
I then moved on to the smoked mozzarella ravioli in a wonderful tomato sauce. The smokiness of the cheese and the freshness of the tomato were amazing on their own, but the addition of the crispy Vidalia onion on top… to die for. I think I have a new favorite pasta!\r
\r
My husband ordered the grilled swordfish. It was also done to perfection. I didn’t even mind (too much) trading bites of my ravioli for bites of the swordfish!\r
\r
My only regret was not having enough room for dessert – which by the description from our server, sounded AMAZING!\r
\r
The high octane beer selection is also decent and the staff was more than friendly. Our server, Gregory, was full of information, attentive and encouraged us to come back on a Monday for their BBQ – which we’re going to have to try! P’Cheen didn’t have the fancy-pants-we’re-too-cool-to-serve-you attitude that some Buckhead/Midtown restaurants have. Their love for food and giving patrons an enjoyable dining experience shines through. We’ll definitely go back!\r
Pros: everything... the food, service, relaxed atmosphere
Cons: I didn't have enough room for dessert.
