They did the same thing to me!! I have seen other vision centers and actually work for an insurance company. When vision centers or doctors try and charge you more than your copay report to your insurance company they will be put on a list and if they have too many complaints they will be taken off the group network. Always call the insurance company and ask what you will be paying. Ask up front what the cost are and if its more than your copay leave and report even if they try and send you a bill afterwards call the insurance company thats what they are there for! We deal with this type of acts all the time and most people just pay!! when they have no reason to a copay is just that a copay
