My wife and I love to visit thrift shops, antique shops and the like. It is fun for us to see some of the stuff that we saw in our grandparents homes and I love to study the evolution of products and their design.\r When we drove up we were not expecting much......looked sort of like a hodge-podge of stuff. Wagon wheels, old garden tools and barbed wire and a bunch of old beer and soda bottles.\r Then we stepped through the door and OH MY GOD!!!\r It was like we were caught in a time warp which spanned from the last decade to the previous century. From Beanie Babies to fine cut glass and everything in between the proprietors have housed within their walls a collection the likes of which you probably have never seen before, and will likely never see again. Old glass doorknobs??? Got 'em. Waterford crystal?? Got that too.\r I kid you not when I tell you that there is no way that you can see all that they have in a single day. \r The owners are an older local couple and they are not there every day. That is the only downside. They said that they are open just about every weekend and they list their phone number and will open by appointment if you call them in advance.\r It's like one of those places that you would see on Texas Country Reporter........not really out of the way, but a world apart. WIth the numerous B&B's in the area, this would make a great weekend getaway! Pros: ..they have just about anything that you can think of. Cons: Not open every day
