Review content:
Before Johnson's garage, I always hated dealing with car maintenance. But one summer, my partner's car battery died and we called around to see if anyone would come to our place and install a battery so we wouldn't have to tow the car. Well, Johnson's was the only garage that would do it. This really impressed me so I thought I might try taking my car there. Well, I've never had such good experiences with mechanics as I have had here. Johnson's is a small garage and there are only 3 guys that work there but they are friendly, honest and good at explaining what is wrong and giving advice. I have never had that slimy feeling liked your getting screwed from this place or the guys. They do oil changes, and every type of repair work that I've ever needed. The only thing they don't do is the NC state inspection. Since they are a small garage, I would recommend calling to see how busy they are before you drop off your car. Although, it has only happened once that they couldn't finish my car out of going there for 2 years.
I highly recommend them to anyone! And this place is only a 10-15 minute walk from campus and on a bus route so you could drop your car off in the morning and either walk or catch a bus to campus and pick it up in the afternoon.
