Review content:
Mary and I visited on Friday night and the venue was quite pleasant on the off season complete with lovely view of the beach and gulf. We sipped the house Chianti, great, and shared an appetizer and an entree. This was no problem for our charming waiter Eric. \r \r We began with the calamari which took a very long time to arrive. Eric was on the case, noticed the delay and followed up with the kitchen. The calamari showed up, followed almost immediately with our entree Eggplant Parm. The calamari was tasty and lightly breaded. The eggplant was delicious as well as was the accompanying pasta with red sauce. \r \r The only drawback was our seating -- in a center aisle -- where I was repeatedly bumped by a waiter as he bustled past. Once I called out ""excuse me!"" after he almost knocked me out of my chair! He replied with a glare. Again, Eric was on the case and spoke to him. He avoided our table after that. \r \r I recommend Mario's especially before sunset when you can enjoy the food and the scenary as well. Pros: view, tasty entrees Cons: getting bumped! slow arrival of food
