This past weekend, my sister and I took 8 family dogs of all shapes and sizes to the Timberlane Kennels. Transporting them from DC to NJ was difficult. 6 in one car (yes, 6!) and 2 in another. Our dogs are our children so we did a lot of research before settling on Timberlane. It was great! The staff and owner were most accommodating (they even let us spring the dogs during Sunday hours when the kennel is not open for dog departure). Very flexible and nice. The setting of the kennel is pretty. It's surrounded by trees and all the kennels have an indoor/outdoor portion. Also, there's a huge fenced exercise area for the pooches. Clean beds, attention to detail (for meds or special food/treats), etc. were all felt from Timberlane. The directions we got on mapquest were perfect. We were heading north to our brother's wedding, but this was a nice neutral ground. I would highly recommend this kennel to anyone. We were very, very pleased and felt safe leaving the ""kids"" there:-).
