At the age of 27, I had two first trimester miscarriages. With no explanation or chance of resolve, my hope for having children was in decline. My OB/Gyn was completely stumped and said that I shouldn't worry...to just keep trying. But I couldn't just keep trying without being as proactive as I could possibly be. I met with Kirsten and, right away, she had several ideas of what might be happening. With diet changes, weekly acupuncture treatments and herbs, I progressed and felt healthier and happier than I have in years (the ten pounds of weight loss was just a bonus). After a few months of treatment, I reached the point where the team (and I) felt confident that it was time to try again. I'm now very close to the end of my first trimester (further along than I have ever been) and I feel great! I couldn't be happier with my decision!
