I have been and continue to be pleased with the attention Dr. Ahad Mahootchi and his staff of knowledgeable ophthalmologists have provided in the care of my eyes. I have confidence that the eye examination I receive is thorough. The equipment used is state of the art. \r

Dr. Mahootchi, who is an eye surgeon as well as an ophthalmologist, after reviewing the results of my examination, explained various options that would improve my eye-sight. Though one option was surgery, I did not feel pressured to select that option. \r

Recently, I opted to have a laser procedure to open the back membrane of my right eye. The procedure was explained, my questions answered, and written instructions given to me prior to the day of surgery, so I knew what to expect. When I arrived at the Same Day Surgery Center in Zephyrhills where Dr. Mahootchi performed the procedure, the medical staff put me at ease. The facility located directly behind Dr. Mahootchi?s office was clean and comfortable. This is not far from where I live in Wesley Chapel, Fl.\r

Because of the positive experience I had at the Same Day Surgery Center, I opted to return there a few weeks later for cataract surgery on my left eye rather than go to a nearby hospital for the procedure. Though told how to care for my eye immediately after the surgery, I greatly appreciated the written instructions given me. Under stress it is easy for instructions to go in one ear and out the other.\r
