Cross check any price you are given for parts and service. Check online. I have used them several times, but will never again. I like to support small businesses, but not ones that take advantage of their customers. I have a Beam central vacuum system. The motor went bad and needed to be replaced. They quoted me $350 for the motor, ""Not including labor."" I googled the part and found the factory replacement motor with free shipping at numerous sites for anywhere from $160-$199. When I pointed this out, I got some lame story that they got their wires crossed and it is $350 including labor. Almost $200 in labor?!! It must be a very intricate job, right? I ordered the new motor online for $175 with free shipping, got it in two days, and I installed the new motor in less than 5 minutes using nothing by a phillips head screwdriver. Maybe you have to use them, as there aren't many other options in the Chicago area, but do yourself a favor and double check every quote.
