Review content:
In 1983, Bob Browne opened Courtesy TV in Lemon Grove on what used to be Imperial Avenue, which is now Lemon Grove Avenue. “We’ve moved just to grow,” says Steve Browne, owner, and son of Bob. The business has since then moved to Broadway. Browne is happy with the location in downtown Lemon Grove, and he’s happy with his family-owned business that prides itself in its service, in addition to the sales of TVs. Some of those televisions for sale include LCD’s and plasma screens, including the popular 15’’-16’’ LG that happens to be Courtesy’s number one seller. Browne insists that the service they are able to provide is key to their long-standing success. He says, “I like being able to offer sales of electronics, help people choose the right product and providing the right service.” Browne says that there is an important sense of comfort from a business that can sell the product, and be there if the product runs into problems. “People are able to call us,” says Browne. Estimates are free, and Courtesy TV will do home service anywhere in San Diego County.
