Review content:
When our host suggested Italian food in Charlotte, we immediately thought, ""let's hope the wine is good."" The wine list was excellent and we greatly enjoyed a Tuscan Sangiovese. To our surprise the menu was simple and the food was great. We tried the half & half pasta plates ( the special rigatoni was home made and perfectly al dente) and my sea bass over risotto with asparagus was perfect. Warm, fresh baked bread and a olive oil & bean dip also were tried and enjoyed. We'll go back.
